Develop Knowledge Through Teaching

In the culture of most western countries learning is seen as consuming as much content as possible. I certainly lost my ability to learn in that way simply because I couldn’t make sense of it. I wouldn’t be able to learn content in a consumer-like behavior without questioning the purpose of learning it in that way. If you ask me a question I have to think longer than people who remembered the exact wording of their notes, but I have a more detailed understanding of the subject too.
